29º Encontro Técnico AESabesp-Fenasan 2018: discussão sobre a MP do Saneamento e lançamento da CT Educação Ambiental marcam 2º dia da participação da ABES

O segundo dia da participação da ABES no 29º Encontro Técnico da Associação dos Engenheiros da Sabesp – Fenasan 2018, que aconteceu nesta quarta, 19 de setembro, teve como destaques dois debates sobre a MP do Saneamento e o lançamento da Câmara Técnica de Educação Ambiental da ABES Seção São Paulo (ABES-SP). O evento acontece até esta quinta, 20, no Expo Center Norte, na capital paulista.

O presidente nacional da ABES, Roberval Tavares de Souza, ministrou palestras nas duas Mesas Redondas sobre a MP do Saneamento. O primeiro debate foi coordenado pelo Sindesam e abordou o tema “O futuro do saneamento – momento de mudança”, com mediação de Estela Testa. Participou também desta mesa Percy Soares Neto, da Abcon.

Na oportunidade, Roberval explanou o posicionamento da ABES, contrário à MP 844, a MP do Saneamento (leia aqui a posição da ABES). Um dos pontos altos desta nessa foi o interesse dos presentes na discussão sobre o tema. Com sala lotada e diversas perguntas, o debate ultrapassou mais de 20 minutos do tempo determinado.

Em sua segunda participação do dia, Roberval integrou o debate sobre os impactos da proposta de reforma do saneamento para o setor e a sociedade. A mesa foi mediada por Francisca Adalgisa da Silva, da APU, e contou também com palestras de Marcel Costa Sanches, da Sabesp, e, mais uma vez, Percy Soares Neto.

Em sua apresentação, o engenheiro lamentou que “em um país que luta pela democracia queira resolver as questões do saneamento por meio de uma Medida Provisória. Isso tem quer ser feito através do diálogo no setor”, reforçou.

Nos dois momentos, Roberval entregou aos palestrantes e mediadoras das mesas a Proposta da ABES para o Saneamento no Brasil aos candidatos à Presidência da República (veja aqui).

Lançamento da CT Educação Ambiental

O 29º Encontro Técnico AESabesp- Fenasan 2018 também foi palco para o lançamento da Câmara Técnica de Educação Ambiental da ABES Seção São Paulo (ABES-SP). A nova CT será coordenada por Agostinho de Jesus G. Geraldes, membro da diretoria da ABES-SP. “Este é um grande desafio da ABES e de todos os que o Brasil vive hoje, deter a educação ambiental é mais um. Assumimos esse papel de fazer isso em todo o setor de saneamento e para o estado de São Paulo”, ressaltou Agostinho.

Para o presidente da seção, Márcio Gonçalves de Oliveira, esta é uma importante CT “para levar a todos a educação ambiental e para trazer condições de saneamento, para as pessoas, para as crianças”, frisou.

O lançamento, que aconteceu no estande da ABES na feira, contou com o convidado especial, José Bueno, do Projeto Rios e Ruas. Segundo ele, o desafio “é conseguir fazer com que a população se transforme em educadores ambientais”.

Painel Desenvolvimento Tecnológico e Inovação

O segundo dia do evento contou também com uma palestra do coordenador da Câmara Temática de Tratamento de Esgoto da ABES, Marcelo Miki. No Painel “Desenvolvimento Tecnológico e Inovação”, ele apresentou o trabalho “Hidrólise do Iodo em digestores anaeróbios mesofílicos: otimização global na recuperação dos recursos”.

Estande da ABES

Nesta quarta, o estande da ABES recebeu a visita de representantes internacionais da aQuamec: Tommi Vuorinen, do Consulado da Finlândia, e Jere Pitkanen, da Embaixada da Finlândia, Roberto Derosa, da Argentina, e Maria Angelica, do Consulado Britânico.

 

Também visitaram o estande a presidente da ABES Seção Rio Grande do Norte (ABES-RN), Geny Formiga, e associados da seção. Eles aproveitaram a oportunidade para convidar a todos para o 30° CBESA – Congresso Brasileiro de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental, que será realizado em Natal de 16 a 19 de junho de 2019.

No espaço, os visitantes encontram mais de 300 títulos na livraria e ainda pode se inscrever na Rio Water Week – Semana da Água no Rio de Janeiro, que acontecerá entre os dias 26 a 28 de novembro, e no 30° CBESA.

Também nesta quarta, o presidente da ABES-SP, Márcio Gonçalves, representou o presidente nacional da ABES, Roberval Tavares de Souza, no evento de comemoração de 80 anos da Suez no Brasil.
