A ABES lamenta profundamente o falecimento do engenheiro civil Juan Pablo Schifini, assessor técnico da AIDIS – Associação Interamericana de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental, da qual foi vice-presidente e presidente da AIDIS Argentina em diferentes períodos.
Entre as inúmeras atividades e contribuições ao saneamento na América Latina e outras regiões, Schifini atuou como consultor para o BID, BIRD, OEA, OPAS, PNUD, UE e ONUDI na Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Guiné, Guiné-Bissau, Honduras, Panamá, Paraguai, Peru, Nicarágua, Uruguai, Senegal e Zaire , na concepção e avaliação de projetos e estudos institucionais.
A ABES, respeitosamente, solidariza-se com a família, os amigos e os colegas da AIDIS Argentina e agradece o legado de Schifini para o setor de saneamento.
