Nesta quarta, 12 de agosto, foi debatido os impactos do novo marco regulatório do saneamento no Distrito Federal, em transmissão promovida pela ABES-DF. O encontro online reuniu representantes do setor e abordou as mudanças previstas na nova lei na gestão de serviços de saneamento com foco na capital federal.
O debate teve a participação de Luciano Oliveira, secretário de Estado da Secretaria de Obras e Infraestrutura do DF; Sérgio Antônio Gonçalves, presidente da ABES-DF; Leila Saraiva, assessora política do Instituto de Estudos Socioeconômicos e do Movimento Nossa Brasília; Ernani Ciríaco, assessor técnico da Secretaria Nacional de Saneamento e secretário da ABES-DF; Aldo Fernandes, ex-presidente do Instituto Brasília Ambiental (Ibram). A moderação foi feita por Raquel Brostel, diretora da ABES-DF.
Entre os assuntos, foi discutido o que muda nos contratos e na prestação de serviços, as perspectivas para regulação, os desafios de investimentos e o alcance das metas de universalização, entre outros pontos.
