A ABES – Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental realizou nesta segunda-feira, dia 30 de novembro, o lançamento do Open Spot ABES – Desafio de Inovação no Saneamento, que será um processo seletivo para escolha de 5 empresas startups, em fase de validação de produto/serviço. O objetivo da iniciativa é promover a aceleração da inovação no setor de saneamento e acelerar o desenvolvimento do segmento nos âmbitos técnico-científico, político-institucional e de gestão.

O evento de lançamento do Open Spot contou com a apresentação de Samanta Tavares de Souza, coordenadora da Câmara Temática da ABES de Prestação de Serviços e Relacionamento com Clientes, e moderação de Juliana Almeida Dutra, diretora de projetos da Deep. E com a participação dos convidados: Karla Bertocco, consultora em saneamento, e Rogério Tavares, vice-presidente de Relações Institucionais da AEGEA.

As inscrições para o processo seletivo iniciam nesta segunda-feira, dia 30, e seguem até o dia 15 de janeiro de 2021, pelo e-mail inovacao@abes-dn.org.br. Os candidatos devem informar nome completo e telefones de contato, atém de enviar o anexo do projeto. 

A banca examinadora ocorrerá no dia 28 de janeiro de 2021. Os candidatos selecionados serão comunicados por meio do site da ABES e individualmente por meio do e-mail cadastrado no momento da inscrição. A premiação será de R$ 20 mil por vencedor e um possível teste em concessionárias e eventual financiamento pelos investidores que estarão participando do projeto.

Os empreendedores apresentarão suas soluções para uma banca composta por representantes das empresas operadoras, investidores e outros agentes envolvidos no setor. Soluções inovadoras serão necessárias para viabilizar a universalização dos serviços de coleta, distribuição, e tratamento de água e esgoto no Brasil. A chamada objetiva mobilizar empresas, investidores e principalmente empreendedores na conversão das oportunidades que o segmento apresenta.

“Esse novo marco regulatório nos pede um reposicionamento no setor, com tecnologia e inovação, para que a gente possa alcançar as metas de universalização dos serviços de saneamento até 2033”, disse Samanta Tavares de Souza, apresentadora do lançamento.

Como pré-requisito para concorrer no processo, a empresa deve ser constituída legalmente no Brasil em conformidade plena com todas as exigências legais e possuir pelo menos um produto ou serviço aplicável a no mínimo um dos cinco desafios: experiência total, eficiência energética, eficiência operacional, soluções isoladas e gestão de resíduos. Ao submeter sua ideia por e este e-mail, o participante deverá informar o nome completo e telefones de contato, além de enviar projeto completo anexado e o formulário (acesse aqui) preenchido.

A seleção dos candidatos será realizada por um Comitê Julgador, composto por pessoas convidadas da ABES, por meio das etapas:

1ª fase: Triagem dos candidatos

2ª fase: Entrevistas à distância

3ª fase: Seleção pelo Comitê
