ABES Conecta: presidentes da Cedae, Compesa e Saneago falam sobre a gestão nas companhias em época de pandemia

Os presidentes Renato Espírito Santo, da Companhia Estadual de Águas e Esgoto (Cedae), Manuela Marinho, da Companhia Pernambucana de Saneamento (Compesa) e Ricardo Soavinsk, da Companhia de Saneamento de Goiás S/A (Saneago), participaram nesta segunda-feira, 25 de maio, do webinar do programa ABES Conecta para falar sobre a gestão das empresas de saneamento em tempos de pandemia. O evento online contou com a apresentação de Roberval Tavares de Souza, presidente nacional da ABES. 

Com mais esta realização (acesse aqui para assistir na íntegra), os webinares do ABES Conecta superaram a marca de 30 mil visualizações por profissionais e estudantes do setor e meio ambiente. 

Na oportunidade, os presidentes listaram as medidas adotadas pelas empresas para ajudar no combate ao coronavírus, como distribuição de caixas d’água, isenção de pagamento da tarifa social e instalações de lavatórios nas ruas para higiene das mãos. Além disso, foram reforçados os cuidados de prevenção junto aos trabalhadores do setor, essenciais na luta contra a covid-19.

“Criamos uma comissão de enfrentamento e providências na companhia, voltada para a saúde e prevenção dos nossos colaboradores, seus familiares e, claro, do próprio trabalho da companhia que, como serviço essencial, não pode parar”, contou Ricardo Soavinsk, presidente da Saneago. “Atuamos com ações que foram e estão sendo acompanhadas e, a partir desse desenvolvimento, com novas ações que vão sendo adicionadas ao nosso plano”, mencionou Renato Espírito Santo, presidente da Cedae.

Manuela Marinho, presidente da Compesa, valorizou o trabalho dos profissionais, responsáveis tanto por contribuir na prevenção da doença, quanto na saúde pública. “Comparamos nossos colaboradores aos profissionais da saúde no sentido da essencialidade dos nossos serviços. São heróis invisíveis que estão levando água e saúde preventiva a todos”, enalteceu.
