ABES Conecta: Ranking ABES da Universalização do Saneamento – edição 2020 será lançado no dia 5 de junho em webinar gratuito

Em sua quarta edição, O Ranking ABES da Universalização do Saneamento se consolidou como um importante instrumento de análise do setor no Brasil.

No Dia Mundial do Meio Ambiente, 5 de junho (sexta-feira), a Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – ABES lançará a edição 2020 do Ranking ABES da Universalização do Saneamento. O evento online e gratuito ocorrerá às 10h e contará com apresentação de Roberval Tavares de Souza, Presidente nacional da entidade, e Dante Ragazzi Pauli, coordenador da Câmara Temática da ABES de Comunicação.

O lançamento integrará série ABES Conecta, programa que disponibiliza conteúdos qualificados, com acesso de onde estiver por meio do computador ou do celular. Clique aqui e faça sua inscrição.

Em sua quarta edição, O Ranking ABES da Universalização do Saneamento se consolidou como um importante instrumento de análise do setor no Brasil. A partir de indicadores de abastecimento de água, coleta e tratamento de esgoto, coleta e destinação adequada de resíduos sólidos, o ranking identifica o quão próximo os municípios estão da universalização do saneamento. Apura ainda os impactos da ausência ou precariedade do saneamento na saúde da população. Por fim, apresenta um panorama da situação de cada município do ranking em relação à formulação do Plano de Saneamento Básico, instrumento fundamental para as políticas públicas de saneamento no país e condição para obtenção de recursos da União para esses serviços a partir de 2023.

O ranking edição 2020 reúne 1857 municípios, representando cerca de 70% da população do país e mais de 33% dos municípios brasileiros que forneceram ao SNIS1 – Sistema Nacional de Informações de Saneamento – as informações para o cálculo de cada um dos cinco indicadores utilizados no estudo. As 27 capitais brasileiras estão presentes no ranking.
