ABES-DF: concurso que une arte e educação ambiental é sucesso de realização

Ao todo, foram 57 bocas de lobo grafitadas em 17 regiões administrativas do Distrito Federal.

A Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental Seção Distrito Federal (ABES-DF), presidida por Marcos Helano Fernandes Montenegro, promoveu, no último final de semana – dias 15 e 16 -, em Brasília, a primeira edição do concurso de grafite: “Água da Chuva: É pro Lago que eu vou, quero ir limpinha.”

O objetivo da atividade, que foi sucesso de realização e contou com a participação de 29 grafiteiros, é conscientizar sobre a importância do saneamento básico na vida e na saúde da população, além de atuar na melhoria da qualidade da água do Lago Paranoá. O evento também alerta para os riscos de alagamentos nas ruas, da poluição dos lagos por meio do descarte inadequado do lixo na capital federal.

aguuA ideia, de acordo com o vice-presidente da seção, João Marcos Paes de Almeida, primeiramente surgiu com o intuito de preservar mais do que nunca o Lago Paranoá, uma vez que a partir de 2018 ele deve se tornar um manancial de captação de água para abastecimento público. “O concurso superou as nossas expectativas. Foi um sucesso absoluto”, comemora. “Foi fantástico ver união de toda a equipe da ABES-DF. E a participação dos grafiteiros foi maravilhosa”, completa.

Ao todo, foram 57 bocas de lobo pintadas em 17 regiões administrativas, que drenam do Paranoá. “Pensamos fazer as intervenções em três bocas de lobo por região administrativa, [uma espécie de subprefeitura, comparando com São Paulo, por exemplo] mais três na Universidade Federal de Brasília – UNB, outras três na Universidade Católica de Brasília – UCN (como esta estava em recesso, as intervenções foram transferidas: duas para Águas Claras e uma para a Octogonal”, conta João Marcos Paes.

abbDe acordo com ele, o objetivo desta etapa do concurso foi cumprido. “O foco de conscientizar a população da necessidade e do dever de não jogar lixo na rua, entulhos de obras, restos de coisas que não precisam em casa nas nascentes do lago foi alcançado”. Os locais escolhidos para as intervenções foram os mais movimentados, conforme Marcos, e a reação positiva das pessoas diante do que viam foi evidente. “A população interagiu maravilhosamente bem. Comentavam e concordavam que é preciso educar.”

O vice-presidente da ABES-DF ressalta, ainda, a cobertura da imprensa, que foi muito boa, e a divulgação nas redes sociais. “Estamos alcançando o que queríamos. Conseguimos unir arte e educação ambiental. A ideia foi muito boa e a consecução da ideia foi melhor ainda”, enfatiza.

Dentre todos os aspectos positivos do concurso, uma em especial chamou a atenção de todos os envolvidos na organização: a união dos grafiteiros. A verba disponibilizada para a premiação dos melhores trabalhos é de 18 mil reais, conforme explica João Marcos Paes.

Mas já na primeira reunião na Secretaria de Cultura, da qual participaram o presidente da seção Marcos Helano Fernandes Montenegro e Sérgio Gonçalves, da diretoria nacional da ABES, além dos artistas, foi tomada uma decisão que surpreendeu a todos. “Eles decidiram que seria melhor, em vez de premiar cinco ou dez trabalhos, seria melhor dividir igualmente o valor para todos os participantes”, lembra João Marcos. Desta forma, o valor recebido por cada intervenção será de 300 reais. “Foi muito bonito. Mostra a união e o interesse deles”, destaca.

João Marcos Paes destaca também o caso do professor de artes de uma escola que tem uma sala de aula voltada para alunos com habilidades acima da média. O professor não faz grafite, mas se inscreveu, mas quem participaria da atividade era a sua turma de nove alunos, com idade entre 16 e 18 anos. A inscrição foi homologada. “Eles participaram como um grafiteiro e fizeram duas intervenções”, conta o engenheiro. “Foi uma grande experiência.”

Melhores trabalhos

abbnAgora vem a última etapa: a escolha dos dez melhores grafites. A comissão julgadora se reunirá ainda esta semana. O resultado será divulgado no dia 24 de outubro, e no dia 27 ocorrerá a solenidade de premiação. Na ocasião, os autores das intervenções mais bem pontuadas apresentarão suas obras durante o evento, que ocorrerá no auditório da ADASA. “Esperamos que também tenha bastante divulgação pela mídia para podermos realmente chegar na população”, finaliza João Marcos Paes.
