A diretora nacional da ABES, Maria Lucia Coelho Silva, participou de 27 a 2 de março, em Brasília, da 1ª Conferência Nacional de Vigilância em Saúde, representando a ABES como participante livre – em função da realização em outubro de 2017, de uma Conferência Livre de Saúde, durante o Congresso ABES Fenasan 2017 (leia aqui)
Mais de duas mil pessoas de todos os estados brasileiros e do Distrito Federal participaram da conferencia que objetiva definir a Política Nacional de Vigilância em Saúde (PNVS). O evento, considerado pelos organizadores um marco histórico na construção de políticas para o Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS), teve sua organização iniciada em julho de 2017 – com as etapas de conferências municipais, territoriais, estaduais e livres em todo o país e que definiram os delegados e participantes livres.
Mais de 170 propostas foram debatidas com ações de vigilância ambiental, entre outras, distribuídas em quatro eixos:
- EIXO I O lugar da vigilância em saúde no SUS;
- EIXO II Responsabilidades do Estado e dos governos com a vigilância em saúde;
- EIXO III Saberes, práticas, processos de trabalhos e tecnologias na vigilância em saúde;
- EIXO IV Vigilância em saúde participativa e democrática para enfrentamento das iniquidades sociais em saúde.
Entre as propostas discutidas as seguintes, destacam-se:
- Descarte correto de medicamentos vencidos;
- Integrar as políticas de Vigilância em Saúde às políticas de Assistência Social, Recursos Hídricos e Saneamento;
- Rever os parâmetros de potabilidade da água, regulamentados pela Portaria MS no 2914/2011;
- Priorizar a execução das obras de saneamento básico e infra- estrutura com base nos indicadores da Vigilância em Saúde;
- Considerar que o lixo representa um dos principais problemas de saúde pública, apoiar a implementação de políticas públicas de resíduos sólidos local e/ou regional;
- Política de combate a acidentes com produtos perigosos, reciclagem, estudo de viabilidade com recuperação dos antigos lixões de modo participativo;
- Implementar processo de trabalho intersetorial com a área do Meio Ambiente para compartilhamento de informações sobre os estudos das bacias hidrográficas;
Maria Lucia ressalta a importância da participação da ABES na 1ª CNVS. “Foi um importante evento de participação social que define a Política Nacional de Vigilância em Saúde. É essencial que destaquemos a relação entre saneamento e saúde.”
