ABES-Rio fala às Rádios CBN e Record sobre o novo marco do saneamento

Os entrevistados foram Rodrigo Hosken, coordenador técnico da Câmara Temática de Governaça Corporativa e Jurídica da ABES e conselheiro da ABES-Rio e o presidente da seção, Miguel Fernández.

Na última semana, a ABES Seção Rio de Janeiro esteve presente em duas reportagens sobre o novo marco regulatório do saneamento. 

Rodrigo Hosken, coordenador técnico da Câmara Temática de Governaça Corporativa e Jurídica da ABES e conselheiro da ABES-Rio, conversou sobre o assunto com a rádio CBN Paraná. No programa, o advogado explicou as consequências dos investimentos que o setor de água e esgoto vem recebendo no último ano. A meta do governo federal é universalizar os serviços de saneamento básico até 2033, mas ainda existem diversos desafios.

“O principal desafio atualmente é a falta de urbanização nas cidades. Porque o esgotamento sanitário, ele depende de uma urbanização para que possa funcionar adequadamente. Sem tal presença, com casas fora de padrão e em áreas de difícil acesso, as empresas terão bastante dificuldade para realizar isso”, disse.

Na ocasião, Rodrigo Hosken abordou temas como a revolução nos serviços de saneamento e a melhora na qualidade de vida da população e os impactos no meio ambiente. Assista ao programa na íntegra neste link

Na Rádio Record, o tema foi abordado por Miguel Fernández y Fernández, presidente da ABES-Rio. Em sua participação, Miguel foi questionado sobre os impactos do saneamento básico na saúde da população. Além de responder relacionando os dois temas, o presidente da ABES-Rio trouxe para a discussão o desenvolvimento de infraestrutura e a participação do poder público para que esse direito chegue a toda população.

“Melhor do que investir em infraestrutura de saúde, é investir em infraestrutura para que as pessoas não fiquem doentes e não precisem da infraestrutura de saúde. O saneamento básico além de ter essa concepção de saúde, é qualidade de vida, uma função relacionada diretamente com o desenvolvimento humano da região. Sem saneamento básico não é possível que se tenha desenvolvimento social”, declarou Miguel.
