ABES-RS debate em Porto Alegre desafios e soluções em saneamento ambiental

A Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – ABES Seção Rio Grande do Sul (ABES-RS), em parceria com a Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul – UFRGS e com a Universidade FEEVALE, promoveu, no dia 09 de outubro, no auditório do SENGE-RS, em Porto Alegre, o debate “Encontros Temáticos”, que discutiu o tema”Saneamento Ambiental: Desafios e Soluções”. Esta edição do evento abordou a diversas tecnologias de tratamento de água com uso de membranas, apresentando experiências do Brasil e do mundo.

Voltado para técnicos de estações de tratamento de águas e esgoto e interessados em geral, o encontro contou com presenças de professores e especialistas de Portugal e da Espanha. O Brasil apresentou experiências da CAESB/DF e do SANEP/Pelotas-RS, além do projeto Água Doce.

Os palestrantes foram: professora Maria Norberta de Lisboa, de Portugal, falando sobre os “Processos de separação por membranas para o tratamento de água potável”, professora Cristina Zutto, que abordou o tema “Tecnologias para o tratamento de água”; Drª Marianne Kock, que discorreu sobre “Contaminantes emergentes em água na Espanha”. Fernando Valero falou de “Tratamento de Águas por PSM na Espanha”; e Henrique Veiga, do Projeto Água Doce, juntamente com o Eng. Fuad Guimarães apresentaram sobre as “Experiências Brasileiras com Ultrafiltração”. O presidente do SANEP, Alexandre Garcia, e a engenheira Sonia Mucciolo falaram acerca do assunto “Estação de Tratamento de Água de Pelotas-RS”.

“Estiveram reunidos técnicos de diferentes operadores de água e esgoto do estado, além de fornecedores de equipamentos e pesquisadores”, frisa a presidente da ABES-RS, Jussara Kalil Pires.  “Ficou o sentimento da viabilidade e conveniência deste tipo de tecnologias, além da compreensão dos desafios de novas formas de contratação e gestão e a importância de informar e envolver a sociedade”, destaca.
