ABES-RS: III AMBIENTUR debaterá gestão ambiental de empreendimentos turísticos e saneamento

A submissão de trabalhos técnicos vai até o dia 31 de março

A Associação Brasileira e Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – ABES Seção Rio Grande do Sul (ABES-RS), em parceria com a Universidade de Caxias do Sul, promoverão a terceira edição do Simpósio Nacional sobre Gestão e Empreendimentos Turísticos – AMBIENTUR. O evento, que ocorre com frequência bienal, será realizado no município de Antônio Prado/RS, entre os dias 8 e 11 de junho de 2017.

Além das palestras, debates e exposições, o III AMBIENTUR contempla a publicação de trabalhos técnicos, proporcionando a geração de conhecimento. A submissão de trabalhos técnicos, cujos Anais possuem ISSN, deve ser realizada até o dia 31 de março aqui.

Um dos objetivos do encontro, que tem abrangência nacional é proporcionar uma discussão sobre a gestão ambiental de empreendimentos turísticos e saneamento ambiental, a consolidação do turismo de aventura, ecoturismo e turismo rural, proporcionando incremento de renda local associada a prática de atividades físicas e preservação da paisagem e dos recursos hídricos, contemplando as dimensões culturais, ambientais e sociais.

A terceira edição do AMBIENTUR será ainda mais especial visto que a Organização Mundial do Turismo (OMT), Agência das Nações Unidades, declarou 2017 como o Ano Internacional do Turismo Sustentável. Segundo a OMT, o principal objetivo é destacar o potencial do turismo para o desenvolvimento econômico sustentável, a geração de empregos, redução da pobreza, proteção ambiental, defesa do patrimônio cultura, entre outras estratégias. Além disso, o evento será realizado durante a Semana do Meio Ambiente, proporcionando uma maior reflexão sobre a temática proposta.

O evento é voltado para empresários, profissionais, gestores públicos, professores, pesquisadores e estudantes da área do turismo e das áreas de gestão e engenharia ambiental, bem como profissionais de outras áreas interessados na questão ambiental, que queiram aprimorar seus conhecimentos na temática.

Objetivos

– Reunir empresários, prestadores de serviços, profissionais, professores e estudantes, que atuam direta ou indiretamente na gestão de empreendimentos na área de turismo e saneamento ambiental;

– Promover a discussão de aspectos institucionais, técnicos e científicos sobre a gestão ambiental de empreendimentos turísticos e sobre ao turismo de aventura, ecoturismo e turismo rural;

– Promover a discussão sobre a importância da preservação da paisagem e dos recursos hídricos, associado as estruturas de saneamento básico com vistas a sustentabilidade do turismo rural, de aventura, ecoturismo;

– Promover a discussão sobre as possibilidades de uso sustentável dos recursos hídricos nas atividades turísticas;

– Oportunizar a troca de experiências, divulgação e ampliação de práticas ambientais já adotadas em empreendimentos que obtiveram sucesso ao buscarem a sustentabilidade;
– Oferecer subsídios aos gestores públicos e aos empresários do setor de turismo, para um planejamento estratégico que observe as políticas públicas, legislação e normas técnicas existentes, incentivando a implantação de práticas sustentáveis que gerem visibilidade e rentabilidade.

As edições anteriores foram realizadas na cidade de Bento Gonçalves (veja aqui), em 2013, e Canela (veja aqui), em 2015.
