ABES-RS promoverá 2º Seminário Estadual Água e Saúde, nesta quarta, dia 15

A Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – ABES Seção Rio Grande do Sul (ABES-RS) promoverá, nesta quarta, dia 15 de agosto, no auditório da CORSAN, em Porto Alegre, a segunda edição do Seminário Estadual Água e Saúde.

Com o tema “Água segura=vida saudável, esgoto tratado, água protegida”, o evento é uma iniciativa conjunta do Centro Estadual de Vigilância em Saúde – CEVS, por meio do Programa VIGIAGUA e da Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – Seção Rio Grande do Sul (ABES-RS). As inscrições poderão ser feitas aqui.

Os objetivos do seminário são: integrar os diferentes atores (autarquias municipais, empresas de saneamento, órgãos de controle e fiscalização, universidades e outros) responsáveis por garantir a segurança na qualidade da água para consumo humano, no estado do RS. E promover a discussão sobre a importância da coleta e tratamento de esgotos sanitários, identificando soluções viáveis para pequenos municípios e localidades rurais, bem como para regiões densamente ocupadas e a conscientização da população para ligação do esgoto disponível nos municípios.
