CT de Gestão de Perdas: diretor da ABES-RS assume coordenação

Ricardo Röver Machado destaca as novidades para a segunda edição do Seminário Internacional de Gestão de Perdas e Eficiência Energética da ABES.

O engenheiro gaúcho Ricardo Röver Machado, assumiu no início de março a coordenação da Câmara Temática de Gestão de Perdas da Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – ABES, tendo como grande desafio estimular a participação de profissionais que atuam em todas as regiões do Brasil dos fóruns de debates sobre a eficiência operacional dos sistemas públicos de abastecimento de água através da redução das perdas. A coordenação adjunta é de César Rehnolt Meyer, da Águas de Joinville.

Röver, que já foi Diretor de Operações da CORSAN e coordena a Câmara Técnica de Gestão de Perdas de Água da Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental Seção Rio Grande do Sul (ABES-RS), se diz muito estimulado pelo novo desafio e pela oportunidade de fomentar a discussão de políticas, normas e procedimentos relativos ao controle e redução das perdas de água.

– É uma grande responsabilidade ocupar este posto em nível nacional na Abes. Considerando a importância da gestão de perdas na eficiência do atendimento às comunidades e à preservação dos recursos hídricos, estamos convidando profissionais interessados para integrar a Câmara Temática unindo conhecimentos e experiências no combate a desperdícios e adequação dos índices de perdas – salienta o engenheiro.

Segundo ele, os objetivos para 2016 e 2017, período em que estará à frente da Câmara, passam pela disseminação da comunicação online para proporcionar intercâmbio e celeridade de informações técnicas, assim como debates entre os profissionais que atuam na área. Também mencionou a criação de grupo de discussão e troca de informações em rede por meio de biblioteca virtual, com disponibilização de material técnico sobre o tema, o que deve acontecer nos próximos dias. Além disso, serão promovidos cursos e treinamentos em diversas seccionais da Abes.

– Vamos procurar trabalhar dois eixos principais: conhecimento e inovações tecnológicas. Neste aspecto, será de suma importância o Seminário Internacional de Gestão de Perdas, que ocorrerá de 5 a 7 de julho, em São Paulo, com palestrantes reconhecidos no Brasil e no exterior, que abordarão, com profundidade, o tema da gestão de perdas, trazendo a sua experiência e conhecimento na aplicação das melhores tecnologias disponíveis – aponta Ricardo Röver Machado.

Outro ponto prioritário é incrementar o trabalho em total harmonia com entidades como a Associação Brasileira das Empresas Estaduais de Saneamento (Aesbe) e a Associação Nacional dos Serviços Municipais de Saneamento (Assemae), além de empresas privadas e profissionais que atuam no setor. Esta integração promoverá o aprimoramento técnico dos sistemas de abastecimento, e resultará em uma melhor prestação de serviços com menores custos operacionais, alcançando assim em benefícios aos recursos hídricos, à matriz energética e ao meio ambiente.
