Desafios do Saneamento Ambiental: com presença de autoridades e empresários do setor, ciclo de debates é realizado no Pará

A Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – ABES e a Seção Pará da entidade (ABES-PA) promoveram nesta segunda-feira, 29 de maio, mais um encontro do Ciclo de Debates “Desafios do Saneamento Ambiental no Brasil”. O evento, realizado no Auditório do CREA Pará, em Belém, contou com grande participação do público da área – cerca de 100 pessoas -, incluindo autoridades, profissionais, acadêmicos e empresários.

Nos encontros do Ciclo, o presidente nacional da ABES, Roberval Tavares de Souza, aborda os 10 anos da Lei do Saneamento, além de falar do cenário nacional, regional e do Estado onde o debate acontece.

Para o presidente da ABES-PA, David Franco Lopes, “a palestra vem ao encontro dos desafios do saneamento paraense, com baixa cobertura de abastecimento de água e coleta de esgoto, associado ao fato que a Companhia Estadual atende apenas 1/3 dos municípios do estado”, afirmou.

Ele destacou ainda a abordagem sobre os 10 anos da Lei de Saneamento apresentada na palestra de Roberval Tavares. “O cenário mostra os ganhos e também os desafios futuros para a diretoria nacional e as regionais”.
