Diretor nacional da ABES integra em Brasília/DF debate do IPEA sobre água e saneamento no Brasil

Nesta quinta, 20 de setembro, o diretor nacional da ABES, Álvaro José Menezes da Costa, representou a entidade no Seminário Objetivos do Desenvolvimento Sustentável Água e Saneamento no Brasil: Governança e Políticas públicas. O evento foi promovido em Brasília, no Distrito Federal, pelo Instituto de Pesquisa Econômica Aplicada- IPEA.

Álvaro integrou o Painel 4, que discutiu a integração entre o setor produtivo e as políticas públicas para o alcance dos Objetivos do ODS6. “Defendemos a importância de que a Politica Nacional de Recursos Hídricos e a Política Nacional de Saneamento estejam sempre integradas nos seus planos, modelos de gestão e nas ações relativas à inserção a sociedade na participação para a melhoria da qualidade dos serviços e gestão de recursos hídricos nas bacias hidrográficas”, contou o  diretor da ABES.

“Destacamos também que é muito importante o trabalho de capacitação, informação e comunicação dos bons resultados que já existem no Brasil e que podem ser utilizados de forma parcial ou total em outras regiões”, disse Álvaro Menezes.
