Diretoria Nordeste da ABES promoverá série especial gratuita sobre o Rio São Francisco

Ao todo, serão realizados seis eventos online, com o objetivo de ampliar as discussões em prol de ações de saneamento nas regiões brasileiras que integram a bacia do “Velho Chico”. O webinar de estreia será no dia 10 de junho, quinta-feira, às 16h.

A Associação de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – ABES, por meio de sua Diretoria Regional do Nordeste, promoverá a série especial “Um caminho pelas Águas do Rio São Francisco: O Rio da Integração”, que visa ampliar as discussões e ações de saneamento básico e ambiental das regiões brasileiras que integram a bacia hidrográfica do “Velho Chico”, considerado o rio de integração nacional. A série tem patrocínio do Comitê da Bacia do Rio São Francisco.

Ao todo, serão realizados seis webinares gratuitos, por meio do programa ABES Conecta, durante os meses de junho e julho, com a participação de diversos especialistas do setor e transmissão pelo canal da entidade no YouTube. As inscrições para participar do evento devem ser feitas AQUI.

“A Diretoria da ABES Nordeste pretende aprofundar as discussões com foco nos detalhes e debater em seis eventos online os principais temas, apontando os caminhos, desafios e oportunidades da temática, além de somar esforços com governos, agências reguladoras, conselhos, comitês de bacias, prestadores de serviços e a sociedade em geral para a consecução dos objetivos propostos”, explica Vanessa Britto, diretora Nacional da ABES para a Região Nordeste.

O seminário buscará conhecer mais as linhas mestras do Rio São Francisco, discutindo o que está sendo feito com a água, bem finito e elemento primordial do saneamento. A reflexão perpassará o Distrito Federal e diversos estados, como Minas Gerais, Goiás, Bahia, Pernambuco, Sergipe, Alagoas, e, agora, Paraíba, Rio Grande do Norte e Ceará, que fazem parte da bacia hidrográfica do Rio.
