Em palestra do JPS-SP, engenheiro alemão fala sobre equipamentos para combate aos vilões do consumo energético em ETEs com processos aeróbicos

Em mais uma ação para promover o conhecimento entre profissionais e estudantes, o Programa Jovens Profissionais do Saneamento (JPS-SP) da Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – ABES-SP, realizou, na última sexta-feira, 17 de março, em parceria com a aQuamec, a palestra “Equipamentos para combate aos vilões do consumo energético em ETEs com processos aeróbicos”. A iniciativa levou para a sede da ABES-SP um especialista internacional, o alemão Claudius Jaeger, formado em Engenharia Industrial na Universidade Técnica de Berlim e proprietário e CEO da empresa Gummi-Jaeger.

Acompanhado por Luisa Jaeger, executiva de Marketing da empresa, o engenheiro e empresário discorreu sobre a trajetória da companhia, responsável pelo primeiro difusor de membrana de borracha.

No decorrer da palestra, Jaeger ressaltou a importância das questões ambientes e sobre como estas podem gerar oportunidades. Falou sobre os processos, o uso e evolução dos materiais e as fábricas da empresa no Brasil, além de apresentar as tecnologias Jaeger Oxy Disc, Jaeger Oxy Tube e Jaeger OxyStrip. Ele explicou que o processo de aeração consome entre 50% e 70% de toda a energia elétrica de uma estação de tratamento de esgoto e que, o dimensionamento e o uso do difusor devem ser adaptáveis a quaisquer circunstâncias de vazão e de carga orgânica durante um período médio de 20 anos. Muitas vezes os difusores funcionam mais do que o necessário, provocando o desperdício de energia e a tecnologia apresentada busca trabalhar sempre conforme a demanda.

Os participantes escutaram sobre os processos aeróbicos e o exemplo da ETE Parque Novo Mundo, situado na Zona Leste de São Paulo e operado pela SABESP para qual o especialista presta consultoria e está desenvolvendo um trabalho.

Ao final da palestra, Jaeger agradeceu o convite, destacou a participação do público e a importância de debater o tema para visar a conservação do meio ambiente: “Agradeço ao formato da discussão. Foi uma palestra bastante informal, os estudantes e profissionais participaram do debate e isso é muito bom para o palestrante. O tema é importante, pois protege o meio ambiente e mostra uma solução verde. Os sistemas devem ser dimensionados, considerando todos os fatores relacionados não só a carga de entrada. É necessário considerar o sistema como um todo, olhar sempre a variação da carga orgânica, vazão, atender a capacidade em todas as condições. Os projetos são dimensionados pra vazão e condição média e pico. Você esquece das vazões e cargas menores sendo assim consegue economizar energia em 20%”, afirmou.

Thomas Ficarelli, geógrafo e coordenador do JPS-SP, frisa a combinação da explanação entre a visão empresarial e as novas tecnologias para atender à demanda do mercado: “O evento foi muito interessante, uma junção de uma visão empresarial das demandas de mercado e os tipos de tecnologias podem ser utilizadas para solucionar os problemas no tratamento de efluentes.  O conhecimento acadêmico foi transmitido, pois explicou todo o processo e a necessidade pela qual a tecnologia de areação foi desenvolvida. A tecnologia é muito bacana e já existem alguns casos no Brasil que estão implementando. O fato da palestra ter sido em inglês foi bom para capacitar os jovens profissionais com outra língua e vocabulário”, finalizou o geógrafo.
