JPS-RS promove discussão sobre resíduos sólidos

O Programa Jovens Profissionais do Saneamento da Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – Seção Rio Grande do Sul (JPS-RS) realizou, nesta segunda-feira, dia 1º de outubro, encontro voltado aos estudantes da Universidade Luterana do Brasil (ULBRA – Canoas), em parceria com o curso de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental da instituição.

A palestra “Gestão de Resíduos Sólidos e Atuação Profissional” foi ministrada por Aline Paes Silveira, engenheira ambiental e especialista em Marketing Socioambiental, e Evandro Lima da Silva, gestor ambiental, com especialização em Educação Ambiental. Os estudantes dos cursos de Engenharia, Agronomia e Arquitetura assistiram às duas apresentações e puderam esclarecer dúvidas sobre o tema.

A coordenadora do JPS-RS, Renata Farias Oliveira, estudante de Doutorado em Engenheira Química na UFRGS e proprietária da empresa R&B Soluções Ambientais, afirmou que as discussões são sempre válidas para debater sobre a importância e a multidisciplinaridade do tema apresentado. “Tivemos um público formado pelos alunos dos cursos de Engenharia, Arquitetura e Agronomia, com cerca de 60 pessoas. O evento foi muito importante, pois pudemos apresentar o programa aos jovens, divulgar a revista e nosso trabalho, além de discutir a importância e multidisciplinaridade do assunto”, finalizou a coordenadora, que organizou a atividade juntamente com as integrantes do JPS-RS Fernanda Balestro e a Vanessa Amorim.
