No dia 05 de setembro, a ABNT publicou a ABNT NBR 16457:2016 – Logística reversa de medicamentos de uso humano vencidos e/ou em desuso – Procedimento. Esta norma, elaborada pela Comissão de Estudo Especial de Resíduos de Serviços de Saúde (ABNT/CEE–129), que está sob a coordenação da ABES-SP, busca atender à Política Nacional de Resíduos Sólidos.

Além da elaboração desta norma, a comissão realizou a revisão e publicação da ABNT NBR 12807:2013  – Resíduos de serviços de saúde – Terminologia;ABNT NBR 12808:2016  – Resíduos de serviços de saúde – Classificação;ABNT NBR 12809:2013  – Resíduos de serviços de saúde – Gerenciamento de resíduos de serviços de saúde Intraestabelecimento; ABNT NBR 12810:2016 – Resíduos de serviços de saúde – Gerenciamento extraestabelecimento – Requisitos.

Segue em processo de revisão a ABNT NBR 13853:1997  – Coletores para resíduos de serviços de saúde perfurantes ou cortantes – Requisitos e métodos de ensaio.
