UNIABES: “A questão do tratamento de esgotos é importantíssima para o Brasil”, afirma Profº. Eduardo Jordão, coordenador do curso sobre o tema que começa em 6 de novembro

A UNIABES, a maior plataforma EAD de cursos para o Saneamento Ambiental, está com inscrições abertas para nova turma do curso Tratamento de Esgotos Domésticos. Ministradas pelos professores Eduardo Pacheco Jordão (coordenador) e Ana Silva, as aulas serão iniciadas em 6 de novembro.

“A questão do tratamento de esgotos é importantíssima para o Brasil”, reforça o Prof. Jordão. “Nós tratamos menos de 40% dos esgotos gerados, o que significa que ainda há muito a ser feito. A situação de geração de poluição hídrica é muito grande. Evidentemente, isso interfere diretamente com a qualidade dos corpos de água. Então, tratar esgotos é uma atividade fundamental”.

De acordo com o especialista, o país domina a questão e tem tecnologia para tratar os esgotos e, desta forma, a solução não depende de buscar insumos no exterior nem tem a ver com desconhecimento sobre o tema. “Precisamos revisar. É uma questão bem identificada com o que nós sabemos trabalhar. No entanto, nossas empresas de saneamento têm um grande déficit ainda tanto em redes de esgotos como em tratamentos de esgotos”, informou

O professor Eduardo Jordão salienta que esta oportunidade de oferecer um curso EAD “é fabulosa, e para participar é simples o profissional que opta por faze-lo não tem mais que abrir o computador e acessar o que precisa estudar e praticar”, enfatizou, lembrando que o primeiro curso realizado sobre tema foi um grande sucesso. “As mudanças hoje são muito grandes e facilitam o acesso desses profissionais ou dos alunos que estão se formando nesses novos campos”.

Para ele, o curso vai atender bem aos alunos que estão vendo a importância de não poluir e de tratar os esgotos antes de jogar nos copos d’água. “O que criamos com estas atitudes? Corpos d`água limpos, agradáveis, praias onde possamos tomar banho, rios quem tenham vida aquática. E só conseguiremos isso se não gerarmos uma poluição continua”, disse. “Acredito que o curso trará boas respostas e que os participantes terão muitos ganhos ao final”, concluiu.

Com os professores Eduardo Pacheco Jordão (coordenador) e Ana Sílvia, dará ao aluno conhecimento completo do assunto, desde as concepções clássicas aos mais modernos sistemas de tratamento de esgoto. Os alunos terão acesso a desde soluções mais simples como fossas sépticas até sistemas mais complexos como lodos ativados com membranas.

O curso Tratamento de Esgotos Domésticos é baseado na mais recente edição do livro do Prof. Eduardo Pacheco Jordão, um dos mais respeitados no tema  por seu conteúdo técnico e exemplos práticos e que desde sua primeira edição até a atual posiciona-se como um marco significativo da literatura técnica especializada, com mais de 14.500 exemplares vendidos.

O programa é composto por 5 módulos:

Introdução ao Tratamento de esgotos, grau e processos de tratamento

Tratamento preliminar, decantadores primários e UASB

Tratamento secundário – processos de Filtração Biológica (FBP) e de Lodos Ativados. (LA)

Lagoas de estabilização como forma de tratamento de esgotos: lagoas anaeróbias, facultativas, aeradas, e de maturação.

O tratamento do lodo gerado nas ETEs: digestão anaeróbia e remoção de umidade.

O curso é voltado a engenheiros e profissionais que atuam na área de projetos ou na operação de sistemas de esgotos e também para os estudantes que procuram se dedicar ao setor de abastecimento de água e esgotamento sanitário.
